Christmas is a time for the whole family, and that means our beloved pooches too! In my household, Santa not only leaves a stocking for my children, but also for our two Springadors. Usually filled with treats and toys they have plenty to keep them entertained for weeks! This year however, their stocking will most definitely include a jar of Peamutt Butter – yes, you read that right; Peanut Butter for dogs!
Peanut butter is a firm favourite with most dogs. What’s different about Peamutt Butter is that it’s specially designed for dogs. It’s a natural Peanut butter with no added salt or sugar. Not only is it a good source of protein, but it also contains heart healthy fats, vitamin B, niacin and vitamin E. This makes it suitable for all dogs as a treat and part of a balanced diet.
I can honestly say that my two dogs, Harley and Buddy, absolutely love this. We put a small amount into their kong chew toy and it keeps them occupied for hours. When they see the pot of Peamutt Butter coming out of the cupboard, they jump about in excitement – it’s actually quite funny to watch. It looks and smells exactly like shop bought peanut butter for us – I’m pretty sure my husband has been tempted to taste it!
A great idea for use is to make some Peamutt Butter dog biscuits. Simlpe to make, with only a few ingredients, these biscuits really would make a fabulous treat for your doggies. Find the recipe HERE.
