Walkers Crisps’ – ‘Choose or Lose’

Did you know that we could see the end of some classic flavours of Walkers Crisps? In fact, 1 of 3 classic flavours could be removed from the shelves – could this be the end of Salt & Vinegar? Shocking, isn’t it………well, it’s up to us, the public to keep our most favourite flavours.

You must vote in the ‘Choose or Lose’ campaign to keep your favourite. There are 3 classic flavours up against 3 other flavours from around the world. Which ones will stay, you decide! Salt & Vinegar is being pitted against new Lime & Black Pepper from Australia, Smoky Bacon against Bacon and Cheddar from the USA and Prawn Cocktail against Paprika from Spain. I know which one gets my vote – Salt & Vinegar all the way!

There has already been a fantastic reaction to the Walkers Crisps’ ‘Choose or Lose’ campaign with fans already rallying behind their favourite flavours on social media. In fact, since the campaign opened in August there has been over half a million online votes! So much so that Walkers has partnered with designer Henry Holland to create six limited edition t-shirts for crisp fanatics to show their support. There have been polls across Twitter and Facebook dividing opinions on which flavour should remain, Holland, famed for his catchy slogans and bright designs, was keen to get involved with the debate. Henry Holland stated –

“I saw the news about Walkers potentially stopping sales of Prawn Cocktail and thought it must be a hoax. I felt that fans needed something to wear to make a statement about their favourite Walkers flavour. I’ve loved working on the slogan T-Shirts and hope people will also want to show their support!”

What I lave about these t-shirts is that not only are you supporting your favourite flavour, but all proceeds from the sales of the Choose or Lose t-shirts will be donated to the Foxes Foundation; a charity set up by Leicester City Football Club to support Leicester-based causes.
